What it does

  • Produces audiences a person in the business would recognise
  • Captures the words the customer uses about their own situation
  • Surfaces the roadblocks that later become offer bonuses
  • Keeps personas genuinely distinct rather than one person at three ages

# PQR Personas

Five answers and you have a real person rather than a vague guess. P, Q and R
are the heart; demographics and results frame them.

| Field | Asks |
|---|---|
| Demographics | Age, stage of life, location, income |
| Problems | What hurts, every day |
| Questions | What they keep asking, what they search at midnight |
| Roadblocks | What stops them, including what they already tried that failed |
| Results | The outcome they are chasing, stated concretely |

## Rules

- Name a person someone in the business would recognise. "First-job engineer in
  Bengaluru" beats "millennials aged 25-34".
- Use the words that customer would actually use about their own situation, not
  marketing language about them.
- Roadblocks are the most valuable field. Each one is a bonus waiting to be
built, and each one is an ad angle.
- Make personas genuinely different in situation and motivation. Three ages of
the same person is one persona, not three.
- Add an awareness stage: unaware, problem-aware, solution-aware,
product-aware, most-aware. It decides how much explaining an ad must do.

## The prompt

You are a customer research expert. I sell [PRODUCT] to [ROUGH AUDIENCE].

Build [N] detailed audience personas using the PQR method. For each give:
    demographics, problems (3-5), questions (3-5), roadblocks (3-5),
results (3-4), objections (2-4), awareness stage.

Use their real words. Be specific, not generic.

## What to do with the output

- Problems and questions become hooks.
- Roadblocks become offer bonuses and objection-handling ads.
- Results become the future-state ads.
- Awareness decides the angle: an unaware audience needs a callout or a
question, a product-aware one needs proof or a comparison.
